The section of pharmaceutical process engineering is the only section major in engineering teaching and research in the university, which undertakes the teaching and practical tasks of engineering courses in the whole university. There are 10 teachers in the section, including 1 professor, 4 associate professors, and 5 lecturers. There are 5 doctors and 4 masters. The faculty graduated from Tianjin University, Northeastern University, Dalian University of Technology, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, Shenyang University of Chemical Technology and other institutions. It is a vigorous and sustainable team with high-level education, good discipline composition, balanced title distribution, reasonable age structure and vitality.

The section is also responsible for the training of graduate students major in biochemical, chemical engineering, chemical technology, pharmaceutical engineering and other disciplines, and undertakes a number of national, provincial and municipal research projects and joint projects. Currently there are 1 National Natural Science Foundation project research, 4 Liaoning Natural Science Foundation projects, 3 Liaoning Provincial Department of Education projects, 1 Liaoning Provincial Doctoral Startup Fund project, 3 Shenyang Science and Technology Bureau projects, and 3 joint projects. 7 Chinese patents were applied, and more than 120 scientific papers were published, including 6 EI-cited papers and 10 SCI-cited papers.
