The Chemistry Experiment Center of Shenyang Pharmaceutical University was established in 2001. It is composed of the organic chemistry laboratory, the inorganic chemistry laboratory and the medicinal chemistry laboratory. The center implements the central responsibility under the secondary leadership of the School of Pharmaceutical Engineering. It takes the development of the first-level discipline of pharmacy and the second-level discipline of medicinal chemistry as the main line, integrating experimental teaching implementation and laboratory management.

The center relies on national-level courses, including medicinal chemistry, chemical and pharmaceutical technology, and the provincial-level courses, including inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and drug synthesis reactions. Inorganic chemistry experiments and organic chemistry experiments are set up for the whole university. The center is equipped with drug synthesis reaction experiment, organic synthetic chemistry experiment, medicinal chemistry experiment, chemical pharmaceutical technology experiment and applied chemistry experiment.

The center has built an experimental teaching team through introduction and training, that combines professional teachers with reasonable age and professional title structure, superb teaching level. The center adheres to the correct positioning of experimental teaching, actively carries out experimental teaching reform and research, and established the teaching concept of "student-oriented, knowledge transfer, ability training and quality improvement throughout experimental teaching", and has now become a provincial experimental teaching demonstration center.
