The Engineering and Environmental Experiment Center was established in August 2007, which is affiliated to the School of Pharmaceutical Engineering under the management of both university and college. The center undertakes the experimental teaching work for undergraduates, typically the courses of chemical principles, pharmaceutical process automation, pharmaceutical engineering drawing, environmental chemistry, environmental monitoring, environmental pollutant analysis, and pharmaceutical wastewater treatment. At the same time, the center is responsible for the characteristic internship courses (monitoring and evaluation of environmental noise, on-site investigation and comprehensive evaluation of river water quality) for environmental sciences.
The center has 4 full-time teachers, including 1 professor and 3 engineers. The team is composed of different disciplinary backgrounds and provides strong support for the development of pharmaceutical engineering and environmental sciences. At present, the center has 15 laboratories with an area of about 6,200 square meters and 390 sets of experimental equipment, with a total value of 5.149 million yuan, which can meet the needs of experimental teaching.
