The discipline of pharmaceutical engineering relies on the School of Pharmaceutical Engineering, consisting of teachers from the section of medicinal chemistry and section of biochemical engineering. There are 38 teachers, including 18 professors and 11 associate professors. Among them, there are 3 special posts by the government of the State Council, 1 national outstanding contribution expert for young and middle-aged people, 5 outstanding teachers in Liaoning Province, 3 outstanding teachers at school level, and 8 in Liaoning Province’s Hundred-Ten Thousand Talents Project. Several laboratories and platforms were built, including the key laboratory of "Target-based drug design and research" of the Ministry of Education, the innovation team of the Ministry of Education of "Research on Structural Modification of Natural Active Substances and Drug-like Properties", and the "Key Technology Innovation Platform" . The platform has more than 3,000 square meters, equipped with various advanced experimental instruments. Members have a high reputation and influence in innovative drug research, with the ability and experience to undertake major scientific research tasks.
